Potty Training with Pampers Easy Ups

By V. Garcia November 20, 2016

Potty training is an amazing milestone for toddlers and parents alike, but it can also be stressful.  Recently I had the opportunity to meet some wonderful parents and their energetic toddlers at Three Little Birds right here in Jersey City to talk products, progress and all things potty. We were able to discuss a variety of techniques. We had some pros who had been through the task already and some new comers who admitted they were very anxious about the prospect of helping their child make the transition from diapers to underwear. Pampers Easy Ups helps to make the journey a little easier by providing better leak protection than the leading competitor. With Pampers Easy Ups we don’t worry accidents will occur on the couch, in the car, or at bedtime. We were able to show case the ease of the Pampers Easy Ups as the kids took turns putting one on the potty bear. They loved the fun characters and pointed recognizing Thomas the Train and Hello Kitty.

All parents want potty training to be a positive experience for their toddlers, but leaks, accidents, and switching from training pants to diapers overnight can feel like setbacks. We want to empower our little ones to overcome these obstacles to achieve and celebrate potty training success – this is why we learn from one another.

At the potty training class we all had a relaxing time chatting about our little ones, and sharing what is working for each of our families. Many of us are avoiding bedtime accidents with a nighttime beverage cut-off two hours before bedtime.  Other parents talked about using the rewards system and were very happy to receive the Pampers Potty Training Rewards Charts and treat jars to use with their kids. Each toddler also walked away with The Underwear Book by Todd Parr. One mom told the group how she sits and reads to her son to encourage him in stay on the potty until he completes his business.

The potty training class wasn’t just an opportunity for parents to discuss their challenges and tips, but also for the little ones to get excited about using the potty with their peers.  We encouraged each child to sit on the potty and offered Mr. Bear for help. There were lots of clapping and cheers. Pampers Easy Ups feel and look more like underwear and will help your child make a smooth and enjoyable transition from diapers to potty. Each parent went home with a pack of Pampers Easy Ups which they were excited to hear were purchased and available at our local Target.

Pampers is a sponsor of Macaroni Kid and I was financially compensated for this post. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience.
