By V. Garcia- Jersey City Publisher Mom June 3, 2014

Being a mom is the greatest job you will ever have... and what a job it is. Motherhood can being overwhelming at times, but the modern mom now has a new tool at her fingertips that can give her guidance and tools about how to have a better life and to be a better mom.

The Jersey City Super Mom series is going to highlight local Super Moms. We are so excited to showcase our first Jersey City Super Mom, Danielle Fornes. Danielle has been a Jersey City resident for the past 16 years and an educator for 10 years. She is a wife and mother of two. But that is not all... Danielle Fornes is the creator of the "Mom Who Knows" blog. This forum is an active site to find tips, information, guides, and the hottest trends for kids. I spent some time speaking with Danielle and asked her about being a "Super Mom".

Q: Why did you start "Mom Who Knows"?
A: I think it is important for moms to learn from one another. It is so important to have a support system as a mom. This blog shares information on many topics from education and parenting tips to fashion and beauty.

Q: What is your next Project/Event?
A: My next event is the Mom Who Knows Saks 5th Avenue Summer Makeup Trends.  I enjoy events that bring mom's out for "mom time". It is necessary to remember that we need to take care of ourselves as well as our families.

Q: What do you love about living in Jersey City?
A:  You are in proximity to New York City for work but can still have everyone around the table for a family dinner. Jersey City is a cultural melting pot of all types of families.
We have created a great family life living here.

Q: What is your definition of a "super mom"?
A: We are all "super mom's". Whether you are a stay at home mom or work a full time job, we all wear many hats and at times a cape. Any mom that can find that balance is a true "Super Mom".
