Field Station: Dinosaur

JCMK Review

By V. Garcia July 31, 2017

JCMK had the chance to visit the new location in Leonia New Jersey and the entire family had a blast. We were greeted by guides who took the time to get into character while telling the kids all about what they would encounter in the park and how to get stamps in their passports by visiting the various exhibits. We began our adventure with a walk around the park. The kids were so excited about seeing the dinosaurs up close and we stopped to read the description of information available on each one. The story of the dinosaurs is vividly presented in the park, on the banks of a scenic creek and surrounded by natural woods. Scientists have worked to ensure that the exhibition encompasses the latest theories and discoveries in the fields of paleontology, geology, and environmental studies.

Then we decided to see what kinds of show and activities we could participate in. HINT (my kids really enjoyed the fossil dig). Below is a list of the different shows, workshops and games. Make sure to check with the park staff and schedule to see what is happening the day you are there.
